Finding a home close to a child’s school is one of the first things parents request when they begin their home search. Many parents will make the request and then take the next steps to drive by, meet with school personnel, talk to other parents and some even sit in on activities. Even when they find the “perfect” home, purchasing a less perfect one may be the result if the school district doesn’t meet their child’s needs. When you do your next home search, add researching the school districts to your list to make sure you find the best match for your child.
