How Have Phoenix-Area Home Prices Fared?

According to the Arizona Regional MLS, the news is good if you’re a Valley homeowner!  The year-to-year figures are positive and the growth appears to be carrying into the fall and winter season.

From August to September, the closed sales numbers are down -9.7%, but the year-to-year figure stands at 0%.  The number of new listings increased 1.7%, however, year-to-year is down by -9.4%.  If you’re a seller, this is good news! With fewer competitors, your home will be viewed by more buyers. Buyers? Be prepared with all your loan data and make your offer stand out from the crowd.

More good news for sellers include a 3.2% increase in year-to-year pricing with an average sales price up 4.1% year-to-year.
