Personal Profile

Violet Killen began her real estate career in 1984. Through hard work, education, and a commitment to serving people, she soon became a top producer and co-owner of Western Sun Properties. The attention to detail and expectation for excellence in every aspect of her profession has earned her the most valuable reward in real estate - continual referrals from satisfied clients. Violet understands the lifetime value of a happy and satisfied client.  Not only will that client do business with her in the future, but they will also tell everyone they know about the top-notch service they received from Violet.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Violet grew up in the Phoenix area. Before making her home in Prescott in 1978, she traveled extensively throughout the United States, but always found her way back to Arizona! After graduating from Arizona State University, she taught Junior High aged learning disabled students for several years prior to entering the business world. Violet is happily married to Ken Killen, a retired title insurance executive and she has two accomplished children -- a son who is a marketing analyst and a daughter who is a media writer and owner of her PR/Marketing firm.

Holding high standards of commitment to helping others, Violet has also been active in the community as a board member of Friends of the Yavapai College Art Gallery and has served as a volunteer and instructor for The Faith House-a women's shelter.
